Consistent with the objective of the Symposium to provide opportunities for interaction and debate on leading AIS research with academics and practitioners, both early papers and papers closer to publication are welcome. We particularly encourage doctoral students and early career researchers to submit their research. There will be concessional registration rates for doctoral students.
***There will be concessional registration rates for doctoral students, and this is an ideal setting for doctoral student presentations.***
All submissions must be submitted in the format of a research paper and represent original work that has not already been published or accepted for publication in a journal. At least one author for every accepted paper must register for the Symposium and be prepared to present their ideas. At the option of the authors at the time of submission, papers can also be considered for publication in the International Journal of Accounting Information Systems (IJAIS).
Paper Submission Deadline is Sunday, March 15, 2026. Earlier submissions are encouraged. There are two separate types of submissions.
ISAIS (Symposium Only) Submissions
To submit an original research paper, e-mail your complete manuscript to the co-chairs of ISAIS 2026, Professor Gregory Gerard at ggerard@business.fsu.edu and Professor Severin Grabski at grabski@msu.edu.
ISAIS and IJAIS (Dual Consideration) Submissions
This type of submission has the benefit of leading to a potential journal publication. At the authors’ prerogative, submitted papers can also be considered for publication in the International Journal of Accounting Information Systems (IJAIS). These papers should constitute original research that is not currently being considered for publication or has not been previously published elsewhere. For concurrent consideration at both the ISAIS Symposium and IJAIS, authors should submit their manuscripts using the Elsevier online submission system at this link and e-mail your complete manuscript to Professor Gregory Gerard at ggerard@business.fsu.edu and Professor Severin Grabski at grabski@msu.edu.
Please clearly specify in your cover letters to IJAIS and ISAIS that your submission is a dual submission and is intended for presentation at ISAIS 2026.
